Dr. Nitesh Kamal M.D.S., Dr. Amit Kumar M.D.S., and Dr. Bhumika Kamal Badiyani M.D.S., along with a team of 40 dentists from Sarjug Dental College and Mata R. Devi Dental Hospital, Darbhanga, Bihar, have set a new record for the “Distribution of Maximum Leaflets on Oral Health Education” on a single day at a single venue.
On 5th February 2017, during an Oral Health Screening Camp held from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at DMCH Grounds during the Rotary Mela, the team distributed an impressive total of 7,169 educational leaflets. These leaflets focused on the “5 Golden Rules for Ideal Oral Health,” aiming to raise awareness about preventing common oral diseases, promoting healthy dietary habits, and encouraging regular dental visits.
This large-scale public health initiative was supported by the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPHD), Bihar State chapter, and successfully educated thousands on maintaining better oral hygiene.
