On the occasion of the centenary year of the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi and the 33rd anniversary of Sai Surya Netra Seva, the largest LASIK laser eye surgery camp was successfully organized in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

Led by renowned ophthalmologists Dr. Prakash Kanhaiyalal Kankaria and Dr. Vardhaman Prakash Kankariya, along with their expert medical team, the camp performed a total of 780 eye surgeries, including 560 LASIK surgeries aimed at eliminating the need for glasses.

The surgeries were conducted at Sai Surya Netra Seva, Ahmednagar, and Asian Eye Hospital, Pune, marking a remarkable milestone in eye care. This massive initiative has been officially recognized as a new world record on August 19, 2018.

This achievement highlights the team’s commitment to restoring vision and improving quality of life for patients, celebrating both a spiritual and medical milestone in the region.
