Artists and volunteers in Kyiv, Ukraine, have come together in an ambitious cultural project to paint a giant Pysanka, aiming to set a new world record.

A Pysanka is a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg decorated with intricate patterns and symbolic designs using a wax-resist dyeing technique. The centuries-old craft is considered an important part of Ukrainian heritage and is often associated with the celebration of Easter.

During the event, artists worked collaboratively to decorate an oversized egg structure with detailed geometric patterns and vibrant colors typical of traditional pysanka designs.
