Shri Khodaldham Trust (West Zone) in association with Samast Leuva Patel Samaj, Rajkot, successfully organized the grand “Shri Khodaldham Navratri Mahotsav 2017 with World Record” event. Under the able supervision of Shri Jitubhai Sorathiya, Shri Hasmukhbhai Lunagariya, and Shri Jayeshbhai Sorathiya, a spectacular performance of Garba, the traditional Gujarati dance, was conducted.
A total of 1921 people participated in playing Garba in a single continuous chain, showcasing perfect coordination and cultural fervor. This massive gathering set a new World Record for the largest single-chain Garba performance. The event took place at Mavdi Bypass Ground, Mavdi Cross Road, Rajkot, Gujarat, becoming a remarkable highlight of the Navratri festivities.
The record-breaking event celebrated Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage and brought together people from all walks of life to promote unity and traditional values through dance. The Shri Khodaldham Navratri Mahotsav 2017 will be remembered as a historic occasion for Rajkot and the wider Gujarati community.
