In a remarkable effort to address the persistent issue of water scarcity in Aurangabad city, Mr. Kishanchand L. Tanwani, former Member of the Legislative Council representing Shiv Sena, has initiated a large-scale water purification and distribution program.
Since October 2011, Mr. Tanwani has been operating a Water R.O. Purification Plant dedicated to providing free purified water to those in need. The campaign distributes approximately 8,800 bottles of water, each in 20-litre jars, daily to over 4,000 families throughout Aurangabad district.
This generous initiative aims to ensure clean and safe drinking water reaches underserved communities, improving public health and combating water shortages in the region.
