“Longest On-Stage Singing Career by a Differently Abled Performer”

Shri Bankim Pathak is a physically challenged professional stage performer and playback singer renowned for his striking vocal resemblance to the legendary Bollywood playback singer Mohammad Rafi Sahab. Launching his professional singing career in 1969, Shri Pathak established his own musical banner, “Ek Yaad Rafi Ke Baad,” in 1980, under which he has captivated audiences worldwide.

Despite the challenges posed by his physical condition, Shri Pathak has delivered over 5,000 on-stage performances across the globe, demonstrating extraordinary dedication and passion for music. His exceptional journey and commitment were honored when he set a new world record on 3rd December 2019 at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Paldi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Shri Pathak began his musical voyage with the “Visrata Sur” musical group, led by the late Shri Ambrish Parikh. He later achieved remarkable success as the lead singer for the acclaimed “Khandekar Brothers Orchestra,” earning widespread recognition and respect in the music community.
