“The domino-building sensation Dak Dominoes has added another historic achievement to its resume, securing a third Guinness World Record with a stunning display involving 9,262 miniature dominoes toppled in a single continuous run.
Brothers Derek and Alex Koops, the creative minds behind Dak Dominoes, meticulously set up the tiny dominoes — so small they couldn’t be placed by hand — over a span of three and a half to four weeks. The precision required meant that a single misstep could have forced them to rebuild the entire setup from scratch.
When the moment came to initiate the chain reaction, the miniature tiles toppled flawlessly, culminating in a new record total of 9,262 mini dominoes knocked down in one experimental run.
This latest feat adds to Dak Dominoes’ growing list of world-record accomplishments. Their previous titles include the longest domino wall — a three-foot-tall structure stretching 150 feet using more than 55,000 dominoes — and the tallest two-dimensional domino pyramid, an impressive creation shaped like a giant slice of pizza.
The brothers have gained wide recognition beyond record books, with appearances on competitive shows like Domino Masters and on America’s Got Talent, where their creative setups drew large audiences.
While Guinness World Records is in the process of finalising certification for their mini domino achievement, Dak Dominoes is already setting their sights on new ambitions. The duo plans to head to Michigan later this year to attempt additional large-scale builds — including a possible largest domino pyramid or largest domino cube challenge.”
