In a remarkable display of creativity and community spirit during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, ten talented girl artists from the Fine Art Center, Azamgarh, came together to create the largest rangoli dedicated to Corona Warriors. Under the inspiring leadership of Dr. Leena Mishra, the vibrant rangoli measured an impressive 30 feet by 40 feet, covering a total area of 1,200 square feet. The artwork was completed within 10 hours on July 30, 2020, at the Children Senior Secondary School Hall in Azamgarh, setting a new record.
The rangoli’s theme, “Salute to Corona Warriors,” honored the tireless efforts of frontline workers battling the pandemic. The event was inaugurated by Shri Subhash Chandra Dubey, DIG Azamgarh Range, and received strong support from Dr. Kaushalendra Vikram Mishra, Director of Sudarshan Research Foundation, and Shri Bajrang Tripathiji, Chairman of the Children Education Group.
This initiative not only fostered a positive environment through art in challenging times but also served as a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the COVID-19 crisis. The event was widely appreciated for its creativity, scale, and the powerful message it conveyed to the community.
