Dr. Amit Kumar and Dr. Bhumika Kamal Badiyani, public health dentists from Mumbai, successfully conducted the largest sports and orofacial trauma lesson at Poinsur Gymkhana, Kandivali (West), Mumbai. The session, held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., was attended by  702 children and parents.

The lesson focused on preventing dental and orofacial injuries during sports activities, acute impromptu treatment techniques, and return-to-play management strategies for such injuries. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about safety measures and immediate care for sports-related facial trauma.

The event received strong support from local leaders Shri Gopal Shetty, Member of Parliament (North Mumbai), and Shri Karunakar Shetty, highlighting the importance of community engagement in public health education.
