“Driven to Greatness: Women Set World Record by Hauling Car Over High Mountain Pass”

In an awe-inspiring display of strength, endurance, and determination, a team of women has shattered records by pulling a car across a steep, high-altitude mountain pass, becoming the first all-female group to achieve such a feat.

The record-breaking event took place on the Grimsel Pass in the Swiss Alps, where 12 women from different countries came together to drag a full-sized SUV up the winding, snow-dusted road at an altitude of over 2,100 meters (6,900 feet). The team pulled the 1.8-ton vehicle for a grueling 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), facing freezing temperatures, thin air, and steep inclines.

“We wanted to prove that women are capable of incredible physical achievements—and I think we’ve done just that,” said team leader Anika Meyer, a professional fitness coach from Germany. “This was about strength, unity, and breaking stereotypes.”

The challenge began at sunrise and took over six hours to complete. The group used harnesses and ropes to safely distribute the weight and maintain balance while pulling the vehicle along the mountain road. Officials from Guinness World Records were present to document and verify the event, confirming the attempt as the longest car pull by an all-female team over a high-altitude pass.

Spectators and supporters lined the route, many waving flags and cheering the team on as they powered through the mountain terrain with unyielding determination.

“This wasn’t just about setting a record,” said participant Lara Chen from Canada. “It was about pushing boundaries and showing the world what women can do when we come together with a shared goal.”

The event also aimed to raise funds and awareness for women’s health and fitness initiatives worldwide. Over $30,000 was raised during the campaign, which will go toward funding physical training programs for underprivileged girls and women in developing regions.

As the final meters were conquered and the SUV rolled across the finish line, the cheers echoed through the valley—and a new chapter in women’s athletic achievements was written.
