Tanis Confectionery Team Crowned ‘Dutch Masters’ After Record-Breaking Gummy Art Success

“In a sweet blend of art and innovation, Tanis Confectionery has earned global recognition after achieving a new Guinness World Record with a stunning gummy creation.

The team successfully created the world’s largest gummy mosaic, using over 81,000 gummy candies to recreate the famous painting The Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn. The massive artwork, measuring approximately 6.5 by 5.5 meters, was unveiled at the Museum of Young Art in Oosterhout.

The record was officially verified by Guinness World Records, marking another major milestone for the company, which had previously set a record for the world’s largest gummy candy in 2023.

Company leaders described the achievement as a celebration of creativity, engineering, and teamwork. The project involved assembling the mosaic from multiple panels, with a team of around 25 people carefully placing each gummy to form the intricate design.

The record-breaking display not only highlights the capabilities of modern confectionery production but also reinforces Tanis’ reputation as innovators in the global candy industry. Their “Dutch Masters” title reflects both the artistic inspiration behind the project and their technical expertise.

Following its unveiling, the giant gummy artwork is expected to be showcased internationally before being distributed to schools and communities—turning a world record into a shared experience.”
