In a vibrant celebration of art, medicine, and social awareness, Shri B M Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, BLDE (Deemed to be University), Vijayapura, Karnataka, set a new world record with the maximum number of students designing rangoli on medical science and social awareness themes.
The event, titled “Swasthya Santulana Rangoli Mahotsav 2024,” was organized with the objective of helping medical students develop creative skills, manage stress, and maintain their identity beyond academics through artistic expression.
A remarkable 1,500 students along with 54 faculty members from 22 different departments actively participated in the festival. Together, they created an impressive 252 rangolis in diverse shapes and sizes, all centered around medical subjects and social awareness themes.
The grand event was conducted at the BLDE Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Vijayapura, under the visionary leadership of:
