The Department of Computer Engineering at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a New World Record for the maximum number of copyrights filed by a group on a single day.
The record-breaking feat was accomplished during a Copyright Filing Marathon held on at the Copyright Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. The initiative was led by Director Dr. Santosh Bhosle and Head of the Computer Engineering Department Dr. Seema Kedar.
A total of 20 faculty members and 356 students actively participated in the marathon, successfully filing 392 copyrights within just eight hours, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 6:00 PM on the same day.
The event was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Seema Kedar, Prof. Dr. Rushali Deshmukh, Prof. Dr. Prema Sahane, Prof. Shabana Pirjade, Prof. Dr. Nisha Wandile, Prof. Ashwini Bhosale, and Prof. Rutuja Khedkar, whose leadership played a crucial role in coordinating this large-scale academic effort.
This extraordinary accomplishment highlights the institution’s strong commitment to promoting intellectual property rights and innovation among students and faculty.
