A historic spiritual gathering is set to take place at the iconic Akshardham Temple on March 26, where the world’s tallest ‘one-foot-standing’ murti of Neelkanth Varni will be consecrated.
The grand ceremony will be led by Mahant Swami Maharaj, drawing around 300 sadhus and spiritual leaders from across the globe. Thousands of devotees are also expected to attend, traveling from major international cities to witness the momentous occasion.
Standing at an impressive height of 108 feet, the statue represents a significant spiritual and architectural achievement. The unique ‘one-foot-standing’ posture adds to its distinction, making it a rare and symbolic representation in Hindu tradition.
Organizers say the event aims not only to celebrate devotion and faith but also to spread a global message of peace, unity, and harmony—especially relevant in today’s world marked by ongoing conflicts.
The ceremony is expected to include rituals, prayers, and cultural programs, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for attendees.
