Chefs and volunteers in Mexico City, Mexico created a massive culinary spectacle by preparing a line of quesadillas stretching more than 1,000 feet, setting a new food-related record.
The record attempt featured hundreds of freshly prepared quesadilla placed end-to-end to form the incredibly long cheesy line. Organizers coordinated teams of cooks who worked simultaneously to assemble the tortillas filled with melted cheese and other traditional ingredients.
Officials carefully measured the full length of the line before confirming that the achievement met the requirements for recognition by Guinness World Records.
The event attracted large crowds of spectators who watched the giant food display take shape and later enjoyed tasting portions of the record-breaking dish.
Organizers said the initiative aimed to celebrate Mexican cuisine and bring the community together through a fun and creative culinary challenge.
