Largest Off-Road Production Cars Convoy

The Hail Region has roared into the Guinness World Records with an extraordinary achievement: organizing the world’s largest convoy of off-road production cars. The record-setting event took place in the scenic Tuwaren area northwest of Hail, drawing attention from automotive enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

Under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad, Emir of Hail and Chairman of the Hail Region Development Authority, an impressive 501 off-road production vehicles traversed a 7 kilometer unpaved desert route, outpacing the previous global mark held by Australia. This thrilling spectacle celebrated both the spirit of exploration and the rugged beauty of the region’s terrain.

The convoy was meticulously organized by the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Hail Region Development Authority, with support from 14 government entities including the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and sponsorship from the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority and Culture House. All Guinness World Records requirements, including continuous movement without deviation and GPS route tracking, were met, earning official recognition of the new record.

Officials praised the youth and local communities for their enthusiastic participation and highlighted the event as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s growing prominence in global adventure tourism. The achievement also bolsters Hail’s reputation as a premier winter destination for off-road and outdoor experiences.

This record-breaking off-road convoy not only sets a new benchmark in automotive history but also showcases the Kingdom’s ambition and capability in hosting large-scale, internationally recognized events.
