IMA 100 NATCON 2025 Creates History with Two World Records in Ahmedabad

The 100th National Conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA 100 NATCON 2025) marked a historic milestone by creating two national world records during its landmark two-day conference held at Club 07, Shela, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The grand medical conference was organized by the Gujarat State Branch of the Indian Medical Association in association with the Ahmedabad Medical Association, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Anilkumar J. Nayak, President, IMA Headquarters, and Dr. Mehul J. Shah, President, IMA Gujarat State Branch.

In its first historic achievement, IMA 100 NATCON 2025 set the record for the Maximum Number of Registered Participants in a National Medical Conference, with over 5,000 medical doctors from across India participating in the event, reflecting the strength and unity of the Indian medical fraternity.

In another remarkable accomplishment, the conference also created a national record for the Maximum Number of Abstract Submissions for Paper and Poster Presentations in a National Medical Conference. More than 900 medical students from across the country actively participated and submitted over 500 research papers and posters, highlighting the growing culture of research and academic excellence among young medical professionals.

The historic occasion was further dignified by the gracious presence of the Hon’ble Union Home Minister of India, Shri Amit Shah ji, who received the World Record certificates and ceremoniously handed them over to the Indian Medical Association team, congratulating the organizers and participants for achieving these outstanding milestones.

Both records were officially confirmed by World Records India by Paavan Solanki – CEO World Records India, making IMA 100 NATCON 2025 a landmark event in the century-long legacy of the Indian Medical Association and a proud moment for the entire medical community of India.
