Dubai Police have once again demonstrated their reputation for cutting-edge innovation by securing a spot in the Guinness World Records with the successful launch of the world’s fastest police-operated drone.
The record-breaking drone, unveiled during a high-profile demonstration at Dubai Police Headquarters, reached a top speed of 414 km/h, outperforming previous benchmarks in tactical drone technology. Guinness officials were present on-site to verify and certify the achievement.
Designed in collaboration with leading aerospace engineers, the ultra-fast drone is part of Dubai Police’s growing arsenal of smart policing tools aimed at rapid response, surveillance, and emergency support. The aerodynamic structure, lightweight carbon body, and advanced propulsion system allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds.
Major General Khalid Al Marri celebrated this achievement as a milestone in the UAE’s push toward futuristic policing.
“This record reflects our commitment to adopting world-class technology to protect our community. Innovation is not a goal for us—it is the foundation of Dubai’s policing vision,” he said.
During the live demonstration, the drone flawlessly executed high-speed manoeuvres, emergency route mapping, and thermal-tracking functions, all controlled through an advanced AI-assisted navigation system.
The drone is expected to support a wide range of operations, including:
High-speed pursuit assistance
Search and rescue missions
Crowd monitoring during large events
Rapid deployment of critical equipment in emergencies
Spectators and tech enthusiasts were visibly impressed, with many calling the unveiling “a glimpse of the future.”
With this achievement, Dubai Police continue to strengthen their position as global leaders in smart law enforcement—proving once again that when it comes to innovation, Dubai never slows down.
