Man Reclaims Painful World Record by Clamping 91 Animal Traps on His Body in Under a Minute

In a jaw-dropping display of pain tolerance and determination, German stunt performer Wolfgang “The Iron Skin” Kirsch has reclaimed one of the world’s most excruciating Guinness World Records — for the most animal traps released on the body in one minute.

At an officially supervised event in Berlin, Kirsch successfully triggered 91 spring-loaded animal traps across his arms, legs, and torso — all within 60 seconds — breaking his previous record and reclaiming the title he lost in 2022. Each trap, designed to snap shut with hundreds of pounds of pressure, can easily bruise or cut the skin, making this record one of the most painful challenges ever attempted.

Despite the agony, Kirsch maintained his composure throughout the attempt, even managing a smile at the end as the crowd cheered in disbelief. Medical staff were on standby, but the stuntman insisted on finishing without interruption.

Speaking afterward, he said, “Pain is temporary, but passion lasts forever. I wanted to prove that mental strength can overcome anything — even a hundred metal jaws.”

The record attempt, broadcast online, quickly went viral — drawing both admiration and disbelief from viewers around the world. Many praised Kirsch’s endurance, while others questioned the sanity of willingly enduring such intense pain for glory.

Guinness World Records later confirmed the feat, officially recognizing Kirsch as the record holder for the most animal traps released on the body in one minute.

This marks Kirsch’s fifth Guinness title, joining his previous records for feats involving physical endurance and stunt precision. His dedication, though unconventional, continues to highlight the extraordinary limits of human willpower.
