A dazzling masterpiece has become the talk of the town at the ongoing Silver Jewellery Show in Sitapura, Jaipur. The highlight of the exhibition is an extraordinary ‘Maharani Gown’ weighing 18 kilograms and valued at over ₹1 crore, captivating visitors with its regal charm and breathtaking craftsmanship.
The gown, a true symbol of luxury and artistry, was created by a team of 25 skilled artisans who dedicated an entire year to bring the design to life. Adorned with nine precious gemstones (Navratnas) and featuring intricate stamped and jadau silver work, the gown represents the perfect blend of traditional Indian artistry and contemporary fashion.
Visitors to the exhibition were left spellbound by the gown’s intricate detailing, shimmering embellishments, and majestic appeal — many calling it a “modern royal masterpiece.” The creation not only showcases Rajasthan’s famed jewellery craftsmanship but also reflects India’s growing prominence in the global fashion and luxury design arena.
An organizer of the show shared, “This gown is not just a piece of jewellery — it’s wearable art. Every element, from the gemstones to the silver filigree, tells a story of devotion and heritage.”
