Maharashtra Artist Creates Exact Replica of ₹50 “Lion Capital Series” Note — Sets New World Record!

Miraj, Maharashtra — Renowned artist Anil Krishna Dabade an alumnus of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, has achieved a remarkable world record by creating a painting of the Indian ₹50 “Lion Capital Series” note (single side, without the Governor’s signature) — an exact replica of the original currency issued by the Reserve Bank of India in 1981.

Showcasing extraordinary precision, patience, and artistic mastery, Dabade completed this intricate artwork in just 12 hours, perfectly capturing every minute detail of the vintage note’s design.

Beyond this achievement, Anil Krishna Dabade has made significant contributions to the field of art and culture.
