In a breathtaking display of trust and skill, ballet dancer Yara Khdair (Syria) has broken a world record by performing a split between two moving ATVs. Teaming up with drivers Mohamed Alblooshi and Abdulla Alhattawi, the trio achieved the longest distance covered whilst performing a split on two moving ATVs, with a distance of 470 m (1,541 ft 11 in).
The feat, organized to mark GWR Day in the UAE, required an immense amount of precision. Khdair balanced precariously between the two all-terrain vehicles as they drove through the desert at approximately 10 km/h (6.2 mph). What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Khdair had never met the drivers before the attempt, putting her complete trust in their ability to navigate the desert terrain while keeping a steady pace.
This incredibly tense and dangerous journey resulted in a new record, showcasing an extraordinary combination of athletic ability, daring, and collaboration.
