Musk revealed plans for launching a tech-centric political party in the U.S., aimed at tackling climate change, AI regulation, space exploration, and digital democracy. He hinted that the movement might expand globally through a decentralized, blockchain-based governance system.
Although vague on specifics, Musk mentioned a concept for a “floating nation”—a self-sustaining, sea-based smart city operating under a unique digital constitution. Experts speculate this could be part of his ongoing collaboration with marine and clean-energy innovators.
But the most radical idea was Musk’s reaffirmed commitment to creating a civilized settlement on Mars by the 2030s. “Why stop at one planet?” he said. “Let’s build a civilization that’s not limited by Earth’s constraints.” Sources indicate that Musk envisions an independent Martian colony with its own legal and economic systems.
