Aadithya Suresh Receives Bal Puraskar for Excellence in Art & Culture

Aadithya Suresh, a young musical prodigy from Kerala, has been conferred with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in the field of Art & Culture. This national honour is awarded to children for exceptional achievements, and Aadithya has rightfully earned his place through unmatched talent and resilience.

Hailing from Kollam, Aadithya has captured the hearts of many with his soulful singing, performing in over 500 stage shows across India. What makes his journey even more inspiring is his triumph over physical challenges—he was born with osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) and has been wheelchair-bound from a young age. Despite this, Aadithya pursued his passion for music with unwavering dedication.

At the award ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, he was felicitated by President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and later received personal appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who praised Aadithya’s spirit and talent. The award includes a medal, a certificate, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Aadithya said, “Music gives me strength and joy. I dedicate this award to all children who dream big, regardless of challenges.”

Aadithya Suresh’s recognition with the Bal Puraskar is not just a personal achievement but also a proud moment for Kerala and the entire nation. His story continues to inspire countless others to pursue their passion with courage and confidence.
