In a heartwarming and tail-wagging spectacle, 342 dachshunds have officially earned a Guinness World Record for the Largest Dachshund Dog Walk, held at the picturesque Marble Hill House in south-west London.
The event, organised as a charity fundraiser, surpassed the required target of 250 participants, drawing dachshunds and their doting owners from across the UK. The record-breaking stroll through the historic grounds was a joyful celebration of community and canine camaraderie.
After the achievement was confirmed, many of the proud pups—some in costume, others just excited—gathered for photos with the official Guinness World Records certificate, basking in their shared glory.
Guinness World Records praised the event, stating, “The owners were a truly devoted bunch, and their dogs clearly loved every minute.”
The record-breaking walk not only set a new milestone but also raised awareness and funds for dog-related charities, making it a win-win for dachshunds and their human companions alike.
