Una Cameron, 51, from St Boswells, has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for women’s sheep shearing, successfully shearing 517 sheep in just nine hours during a live-streamed marathon session.
A seasoned shearer since her youth, Una described the achievement as the culmination of a lifetime of dedication and hard work in the field.
“I’ve been building toward this all my working life,” she said, reflecting on the grueling but rewarding challenge.
