In an extraordinary display of patience, dedication, and precision, Sajankumar Arvindbhai Patel from Anand, Gujarat, has achieved the Guinness World Record for creating the longest rubber band chain by an individual.
Measuring an incredible 6,500 meters (21,325 feet 5.5 inches), the chain was officially recognized on January 1, 2020. The record-breaking creation was made using approximately 85,300 rubber bands, meticulously linked one by one.
Sajankumar, known for his passion for unique crafts, took on this challenge as a personal mission to test his endurance and inspire others with the message that consistency can lead to extraordinary achievements.
“Every band I added was a step closer to my dream. This chain is more than rubber — it’s made of perseverance,” said Sajankumar.
The colorful chain stretched across a large open area in Anand and drew significant local attention, with community members showing up to witness the final measurement and cheer on the achievement.
