India Sets World Record for Largest Human Image of an Abacus with 968 Participants

In a spectacular display of coordination and educational spirit, UCMAS India has achieved a Guinness World Record for creating the largest human image of an abacus, with 968 participants coming together to form the iconic mathematical tool.

The record-breaking event took place in Gujarat, marking the first-ever successful attempt at this unique record. The participants, primarily schoolchildren and students from UCMAS centers across the region, assembled in perfect formation to create the large-scale image of an abacus, symbolizing the importance of mental arithmetic and visual learning.

The event celebrated the power of education and UCMAS’s commitment to promoting brain development through abacus training. It also aimed to increase awareness about the benefits of early mental math education in improving concentration, memory, and analytical thinking among children.

“This record is not just about numbers—it’s about nurturing young minds and showcasing India’s commitment to innovative education,” said a UCMAS India representative.

Guinness World Records adjudicators were present on-site to verify the successful execution and accurate formation of the abacus shape. With 968 participants flawlessly positioned, the record was confirmed, bringing pride to the entire UCMAS community and the state of Gujarat.

This achievement by UCMAS India not only sets a global benchmark but also highlights the impact of creative educational initiatives in shaping the future of young learners.
