“Unity in Tradition: Lalitpur’s 50,000-Strong Nehru Cap Procession Sets New World Record”

On the grand occasion of the Welcome Ceremony for Jain Niryapak Muni Pungav 108 Shri Sudha Sagar Ji Maharaj, the Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat Samiti, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh organized a record-setting event that saw over 50,000 people from all communities come together wearing traditional Nehru caps.

Participants joined the ceremonial walk with Muni Shri from Village Masora Khurd to the 1008 Digambar Jain Kshetrapal Ji Mandir in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, showcasing an extraordinary display of unity and devotion. The event took place on 14th July 2022 and concluded at the 1008 Digambar Jain Kshetrapal Ji Mandir, Station Road, Lalitpur, setting a new world record.

This remarkable gathering emphasized communal harmony, respect for spiritual leaders, and the significance of cultural heritage. The event marked a milestone for the region and the Jain community, highlighting their dedication to celebrating and preserving traditions.
