Shri Purusarth Saikshanik Sankul, under Shri Yaduvanshi Education & Charitable Trust, organized an extraordinary cultural event — the Longest Relay Poems Recitation Marathon in the Gujarati language.
The marathon took place at Menka Ground, near GEB, Bhanvad, in Devbhumi Dwarka district, Gujarat. Starting at midnight on 11th July 2015, the event ran continuously for 33 hours, concluding at 9:00 am on 12th July 2015.
A total of 265 participants joined hands to recite an incredible 2,410 Gujarati poems simultaneously in a relay format, showcasing the rich literary heritage and vibrant cultural spirit of Gujarat.
This monumental event not only set a new record but also strengthened the community’s bond through the love of poetry and the Gujarati language. Shri Purusarth Saikshanik Sankul’s initiative highlights the power of literature in promoting unity and cultural pride.
