Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering & Technology (NMIET) achieved a remarkable milestone by organizing a copyright filing marathon that resulted in 221 copyright applications filed in a single day. Held on June 29, 2023, at the Copyright Office in New Delhi, the event set a new world record.
Under the expert mentorship of Sanjay Bala Bhegade, Ganeshji Khandge, and Santoshji Khandge, professors and students from various departments actively participated in this unique initiative. The marathon demonstrated the institution’s strong commitment to promoting intellectual property awareness and protecting creative innovations.
The event was successfully coordinated and supported by Rajeshji Mhaske, Nandkumar Shelar, Ramdas Kakade, Dr. Girish Desai, Dr. Vilas Deotare, and Prof. Pritam Ahire, ensuring smooth execution and record-setting performance.
