To promote spiritual tourism, Mr. Sharad Amritrao Kalepatil, a dedicated biker from Sonai, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, embarked on an inspiring “Shakti Peeth Spiritual Motor Cycle Expedition” across Maharashtra on his Aquilla Hyosung GV 250 motorbike.
He commenced his remarkable journey from Mahur in Nanded district at 6:40 am on 17th February 2023 and successfully visited the revered Shakti Peeth sites of Tuljapur and Kolhapur before concluding his expedition at Saptashrungi Gad in Nashik district at 7:27 am on 18th February 2023.
Mr. Kalepatil covered a total distance of 1128 kilometers within an impressive 25 hours, setting a new record as confirmed by World Records India.
His journey not only showcased his endurance and passion for biking but also highlighted the cultural and spiritual heritage of Maharashtra’s Shakti Peeths, inspiring many to explore these sacred destinations.
