In a historic musical feat marking the closing ceremony of the Swarnim Gujarat Golden Jubilee celebrations, Tabla Talim Sansthan and Saptak School of Music, Ahmedabad, organized a grand World Record Event where 321 tabla musicians came together for a synchronized performance.
The event took place at the Shrirangam Open Air Theater, Shreyas Foundation, Ambawadi, and witnessed the rhythmic spectacle of non-stop tabla performance for 1 hour and 15 minutes, starting at 7:30 PM and concluding at 8:45 PM.
This unique gathering of percussionists, all performing in harmony, was a celebration of Gujarat’s cultural richness and musical heritage. The performance not only mesmerized the audience but also symbolized unity in rhythm and paid tribute to India’s classical music tradition. The event has been recognized as a record-breaking performance, showcasing Gujarat’s commitment to promoting and preserving traditional art forms on a global stage.
