“200 Students Set World Record with Guitar Tribute to D. Veerendra Heggade”

In a heartwarming tribute on the 74th birthday of renowned philanthropist and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, a unique world record was set at JSS Sri Manjunatheshwar Central School, Dharwad. In collaboration with the Royal International School of Music (RISM), the school organized a musical celebration where 200 students performed the song “Happy Birthday to You” on guitar simultaneously, setting a new world record.

The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Ajith Prasad, Secretary of JSS, and Smt. Sadhana. S, Principal of SMC. The musical training and orchestration were led by Vishal Singh, Director of RISM.

The synchronized performance by young guitarists not only celebrated the life and contributions of Dr. Heggade but also showcased the unity and talent of the next generation in a grand musical gesture.

This record-breaking celebration marked a unique blend of musical talent, cultural reverence, and educational collaboration, adding another accolade to the legacy of Dr. Heggade’s lifelong service and inspiration to society.
