In a remarkable musical tribute to the legendary Bollywood music director R.D. Burman, Bollytunes Musical Entertainers & Events organized a 3-day Karaoke Singing Marathon from March 1 to March 3, 2024, at “STUDIO BOLLYTUNES” Live Performing Studio, Nagpur.
Under the dynamic leadership of singer Mayank Bhorkar, the event brought together 160 passionate male and female singers, supported by a 10-member technical and backstage team, who delivered a phenomenal performance of 300+ R.D. Burman-composed songs on karaoke tracks. The non-stop musical celebration showcased iconic melodies and timeless classics, capturing the spirit and genius of one of India’s most celebrated music composers.
The marathon was streamed live on YouTube and adjudicated online by the World Records India team, earning a new world record title for the “Longest Karaoke Singing Marathon Dedicated to R.D. Burman.”
The event not only honored R.D. Burman’s musical legacy but also exemplified the unity, talent, and dedication of India’s musical community.
