“Senior Citizens Create History with 75-Hour Nonstop Musical Tribute to Dr. Ambedkar”

In a historic tribute marking the 134th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and celebrating 75 years of the Indian Constitution, the Manish Patil Foundation, along with its dedicated team from Nagpur, Maharashtra, organized an extraordinary 75-hour non-stop Musical Marathon titled “Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman.”

The event, held at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Convention Centre, began at 11:00 AM on April 19, 2025, and concluded successfully at 2:00 PM on April 22, 2025. Spearheaded by Shri Manish Patil, Shri Satish Alone, and Smt. Alka Waghmare, the marathon featured an inspiring participation of 178 senior citizens (all aged 50 and above), who together performed an astounding 534 Bollywood songs continuously — setting a New World Record.

This remarkable celebration blended patriotism, cultural pride, and senior empowerment, underlining the enduring legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and the spirit of India’s Constitution. The event received widespread admiration for promoting constitutional awareness through the power of music and community spirit.
