To pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Jain Muni Shri Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj along with the Tarun Kranti Manch organized a remarkable event on 2nd October 2012. The event witnessed the largest gathering of people dressed as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, with a total of 891 participants donning the iconic attire of the Mahatma.
The grand yatra commenced from Gandhi Ashram and proceeded to the Income Tax office, symbolizing respect and remembrance of Gandhi’s life and teachings. This unique tribute aimed to inspire citizens and highlight the enduring legacy of Gandhi’s principles of non-violence, truth, and simplicity.
The event received widespread appreciation for its creativity and scale, marking a memorable celebration of Gandhi Jayanti in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
