On the auspicious occasion of Deepavali Festival 2018, Provhati – Way To Dream, a renowned NGO and charitable organization based in Assam, organized a grand celebration that left a lasting impression. Devotees came together at Amguri Mini Stadium in Sivasagar District, Assam, to light an astounding total of 204,656 diyas (oil lamps).
The diyas were carefully arranged to form a luminous map of Assam, symbolizing unity, hope, and the rich cultural heritage of the state. This spectacular visual tribute by thousands of participants honored Assam and its people during the festival of lights.
