Panipat Pinkathon 2019 Sets New World Record with Over 55,000 Women Runners

On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2019, the District Administration of Panipat, Haryana, successfully organized the grand running event “Panipat Pinkathon 2019” aimed at encouraging women towards a healthy lifestyle and fostering solidarity across the nation. The marathon featured two race categories – 10 KM and 5 KM – and witnessed an overwhelming participation of 55,458 women runners.

The event took place on 8th March 2019 at Huda Sector 13 and 17 in Panipat, Haryana, India, marking a significant milestone as the largest women-only running marathon in the country. This impressive turnout set a new world record, highlighting the enthusiasm and spirit of women athletes and fitness enthusiasts from Panipat and nearby regions.
