Jharkhand Sets World Record by Disbursing INR 1398 Crores to 36,000 Employees on Constitution Day

On the momentous occasion of the 71st Constitution Day , the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) organized a landmark Service Lok Adalat at Nyaya Sadan, Doranda, Ranchi. This historic event focused on resolving service matters for serving and retired employees from the State Government, universities, and major public sector companies including CCL, BCCL, ECL, and HEC.

A staggering total of INR 1398.20 crores was disbursed to 36,000 government employee beneficiaries in a single day, setting a new world record for the highest amount disbursed through a Lok Adalat.

The grand program was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, along with Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren. The judiciary was represented by Hon’ble Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jharkhand, Hon’ble Mr. Justice H.C. Mishra, Judge of the High Court and Executive Chairman of JHALSA, as well as other esteemed High Court Judges.

This remarkable achievement highlights Jharkhand’s commitment to speedy justice and welfare for government employees, marking a proud milestone in the state’s legal and administrative history.
