Longest Peacock Structure Made of Iron Stools Displayed at Sabarmati Festival 2016

In a stunning display of creativity and craftsmanship, Mr. Ketan Kanjariya along with a team of four students — Vinit B. Barot, Sandip M. Bhoi, Abhishek A. Dodiya, and Jaydeep A. Parmar — from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, created a magnificent 74-feet long peacock structure during the Sabarmati Festival 2016.

The artwork, constructed using 430 iron stools, was exhibited at the Sabarmati Riverfront, Paldi, Ahmedabad, and instantly became a visual highlight of the festival. The structure paid homage to India’s national bird and stood as a symbol of artistic ingenuity and team spirit.

The unique installation captivated thousands of festival visitors and set a new benchmark for large-scale artistic displays using everyday materials. This record-setting feat underscored the rich talent nurtured within Gujarat’s art institutions and the power of collaborative creativity.
