Artist Paints 11,111 Women Faces on Single Scroll in Support of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Campaign

In a remarkable tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” renowned artist and painter Mital Jaysukhbhai Sojitra from Surat created a monumental painting featuring 11,111 different women’s faces on a single scroll measuring 127 feet in length and 2.5 feet in breadth.

The artwork was completed over a span of 11 days, starting from 6th September to 16th September, 2016, and was officially unveiled on 24th September, 2016 at Ramkrishna Hall, Patidar Samaj Wadi, Amba Talawadi, Katargam, Surat, Gujarat.

This extraordinary artistic feat was not only a powerful symbol of women empowerment but also a creative step toward spreading awareness for the protection, education, and upliftment of girls in India. Mital Sojitra’s dedication and intricate brushwork serve as an inspiration to the art world and a testament to the strength and dignity of Indian women.
