In a grand celebration of Christmas spirit and culinary excellence, Chef Aanal Kotak, renowned Celebrity Chef and Founder of The Secret Kitchen – Gujarat’s first luxury fine-dining restaurant – created history by crafting India’s Largest Christmas Plum Cake.
The monumental cake measured an astounding 56 feet in length and 5 feet in width, weighing a total of 750 kilograms. It was prepared using an elaborate mix of ingredients including 255 kg of dry fruits, 120 liters of orange juice, 40 kg of plum fruits, 150 kg of flour, and 50 kg of chocolates.
The event took place at Ahmedabad One Mall, Vastrapur, where the cake was displayed as the centerpiece of the Christmas Eve celebrations. Chef Aanal was supported by a dedicated team of 10 members, who together invested 110 man-hours to complete the record-breaking dessert.
This magnificent creation not only delighted visitors with its sheer scale and festive flair but also set a New World Record for the largest Christmas plum cake ever made in India, making it a memorable milestone in India’s culinary achievements.
