In an extraordinary display of unity, patriotism, and endurance, 1613 skaters from 16 different locations across Maharashtra came together on Republic Day to set a New World Record. The event, organized jointly by All Maharashtra Skating Coaches, aimed to foster patriotism, nationalism, and empathy among students through a synchronized state-wide celebration.
The unique initiative witnessed skaters performing non-stop skating for 1 hour, all while proudly holding the Indian National Flag. The event was meticulously timed and conducted simultaneously from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on January 26 in cities across the state.
This collective effort not only set a world record for the largest group skating performance across multiple venues but also highlighted the power of sport as a medium to promote national values and unity among youth.
