In a grand musical tribute to the iconic Bollywood playback singer Kishore Kumar, a historic karaoke singing marathon was organized by the All India Karaoke Artist Association (Pune/Ahmedabad) in collaboration with Shree Manoranjan Musical Studio, Gandhinagar. The event, held at the studio’s Kudasan premises, etched its name into the record books with a non-stop 24-hour singing session.
Under the expert mentorship of renowned singer Tushar Trivedi, a group of 30 passionate performers sang an astonishing 202 songs of Kishore Kumar continuously from 10:00 AM on August 4, 2019, to 10:00 AM on August 5, 2019. The event was a heartfelt homage to the musical maestro on the eve of his birth anniversary, celebrating his timeless contribution to Indian cinema.
The marathon not only showcased the immense talent and dedication of karaoke artists from across the country but also set a New World Record for the longest karaoke singing session dedicated to a single artist.
Organizers expressed their joy and pride in achieving this musical milestone, emphasizing that the event aimed to keep the legacy of Kishore Kumar alive for future generations.
The successful completion of the 24-hour karaoke marathon was met with applause from music lovers, artists, and fans alike, marking yet another feather in the cap of India’s vibrant musical heritage.
