On the occasion of the Tana Riri Festival organized by the Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak Academy (Government of Gujarat) in Gandhinagar, a spectacular musical event set a new world record. A total of 108 flute artists came together to perform the National Anthem and National Song within 10 minutes. This remarkable feat was led by Shri Bharat Vyas along with renowned flutist Sanjeev M. Dharaiya. The record-setting performance took place on 6th November 2019 at the Tana Riri Samadhi Sathal, Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Gujarat.
The event was conceptualized by Shri Pankajbhai Bhatt, Chairman of the Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak Academy, and was celebrated as a grand tribute to Indian unity and cultural heritage, showcasing the harmonious blend of music and patriotism.
