World Record Set as 1300+ Students Create Over 650 Tricolour Rangoli Designs in Rajkot

To inspire patriotism among young students, the Rotary Club of Rajkot Greater, Gujarat, organized a spectacular world record event on 15th August 2021. Under the leadership of RTN. Paresh Kalavadia and with support from Shikshan Samiti Chairman Mr. Atul Pandit, more than 1300 students under the age of 16 from various municipal schools participated enthusiastically.

The students crafted over 650 vibrant tricolour Indian flag designs on the floor, each measuring at least 2 feet by 2 feet. Using rangoli colours, measuring tapes, chalk, fruits, vegetables, and grains, they showcased creativity and national pride on Independence Day. The event took place across multiple locations in Rajkot, Gujarat.

This colorful display of patriotism set a new world record and was coordinated efficiently by Minu Jasdanwala, marking a memorable celebration of India’s heritage and unity.
