In a remarkable initiative to raise awareness about psoriasis, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited of Hyderabad, Telangana, has set a world record by creating the Largest Ribbon made of Dermatologist’s Seals. The massive ribbon, symbolizing the fight against psoriasis, measures an impressive 1200 meters in length and was unveiled at the Chandrashekhar Agashe College of Physical Education in Pune on October 29, 2023.
Crafted from two cloth pieces in vibrant orange and purple—the colours associated with psoriasis awareness—the ribbon was adorned with the seals of 3,077 dermatologists from across India. These seals were printed on stickers and meticulously pasted on the fabric, creating a powerful statement of unity and commitment within the dermatology community.
This record-setting event not only showcased a feat of coordination and scale but also brought much-needed attention to psoriasis, a chronic skin condition affecting millions worldwide.
