At the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Swimming Championships, several remarkable records were set:

Katie Cosgriffe Sets Para World Record

Katie Cosgriffe, a swimmer from Wilfrid Laurier University, achieved a new S10 para swimming world record in the 100-meter backstroke at the OUA Championships.

Loewen and Ginzburg Break OUA Records

On the second day of the championships, Benjamin Loewen of the University of Toronto set a new OUA record in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 52.86 seconds.

Eric Ginzburg of York University broke the OUA record in the 50-meter butterfly, clocking in at 23.56 seconds.
