In a delicious victory for Indian cuisine, Butter Garlic Naan has been ranked as the world’s best bread in the TasteAtlas global rankings for March 2025. The beloved Indian classic earned an impressive rating of 4.7, celebrated for its soft, airy texture and rich buttery garlic flavor that has won hearts across the globe.

TasteAtlas, the international food and travel guide known for spotlighting authentic cuisines, praised Butter Garlic Naan for its perfect balance of flavor, aroma, and versatility, describing it as “the ultimate companion to Indian curries and gravies.”

The list also highlighted several other Indian breads for their taste and cultural significance. Parotta secured the 6th position for its flaky layers, Naan (classic) ranked 8th for its universal appeal, while Paratha, Bhatura, Aloo Naan, and Roti took the 18th, 26th, 28th, and 35th spots, respectively.
